Pure high quality shilajit will start to dissolve in cold water instantly as you can see in the video 
Pure high quality shilajit will NOT dissolve in cooking oil, we left our sample in for over 5 days and nothing 
Pure shilajit will never set on fire or melt under a flame. Good shilajit will burn and turn to ash, as can be seen.
When pure shilajit is cold it is very brittle and will snap and shatter. We left this peace in the fridge over night.
This is what pure shilajit looks like at room temperature. It should be shiny and firm, after warming it up a bit with your body temperature  you should be able to roll it around in your fingers as seen, left with a slight oily residue.
